[Free eBook] The Lesser Key of Solomon Grimoire

Spread the love

The Lemegeton, also known as the Lesser Key of Solomon Grimoire, is a 17th-century grimoire attributed to King Solomon. Ars Goetia, Ars Theurgia-Goetia, Ars Paulina, Ars Almadel, and the lost fifth book Liber Malorum Spirituum seu Goeticae Praecipua comprise it.

The first four books describe the 72 spirits (demons) summoned by the magical operator using the various methods described in each section. It was one of Aleister Crowley’s favorite works, and he edited/published it under his own name in 1904 with some additional commentary; Sigmund Freud also owned a copy, which can be seen at Yale University’s Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library.

The author offers helpful advice on everything from creating ritual space and altars to working with Spirits. They also debunk some common misconceptions about this type of magic, such as the belief that it is dark or evil. This is an excellent resource for anyone interested in Solomonic magic.

Overall, I found this work to be extremely detailed and intriguing. If you’re interested in demonology or magic(k)al workings, I highly recommend reading it!

If you are interested in this book you may also want to check out The Key of Solomon the King, this book was heavily inspired by it, and its another great read for anyone interested in the occult.
